4th Grade Homework due 10/7

Alright ladies and gentlemen, let's work hard this week!  I believe that you can!

• Assignment #1 choose your question to research during Genius Hour.  Remember to talk over your topic with your parents.  Please write your topic in your journal and have your parents sign it.  Here is a link to our document with our ideas.  OUR IDEAS  Don't forget that not all of the ideas were good ones.  You want to have a PASSION for your topic and for it to be a topic on which you can find information.  I would not recommend researching a college as our college projects will be assigned soon.
• Watch the following video on multiplication with partial product multiplication, also known as the area model), then solve the recommended multiplication lesson on your Khan Academy.

Multiplying: using an area model: Using graph paper we'll map out an area model to help us with a multiplication problem.

• I will be rewarding those students who get their homework done including journal writing and 30 minutes on Khan Academy.

• Khan Academy Challenge:  Who can earn the most points this week?  Will it be you?
